Virtual Medical Office Assistant (VMOA) & Reception Service Options

Services

Sherritt’s ‘Virtual Medical Office Assstant’ was created to support your current clinic/physician staff in maintaining efficiency in the workplace, on an ‘as needed’ basis.

A Sherritt Virtual MOA/ Receptionist requires very little administration and has zero hidden costs. Our VMOA can fill any gap as required to keep your employees current and on task, instead of hiring another In-House Employee MOA that could be expensive and underutilized. Sherritt’s Virtual MOA’s/Receptionists can work as little or as much as is required provide the solution You need.

Sherritt VMOA duties and tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Managing referral letters sent and  received;
  • Callbacks;
  • EMR/CHR Document linking;
  • Schedule bookings – new or existing patients;
  • Confirm  bookings - new or existing patients;
  • Appointment follow-ups – existing patients;
  • Schedule existing patients who have not been in for a time;
  • Manage patient information- as per clinic directive;
  • Manage incentives and or time spent (BC)
  • Fax documentation;
  • virtual clinic management 
  • CPSA/CPSBC/CPSSK, MB, ON, NS... clinic and physician contact verification;
  • Follow up on failed fax transmissions (fax reconciliation);
  • Virtual filing into patient charts;
  • Create, sort, maintain documents for lab, diagnostic imaging, hospitals, pharmacies;
  • Internal EMR documentation of all work completed, either on patient chart or answering tasks
  • Transcription of dictated chart/encounter notes if requested and/or editing services for existing notes
  • Create referral letters from the chart notes and fax them to the specialist
  • Medical legal letter creation with attached copies of clinical records when requested
  • Consultation letters for specialists
  • Insurance letters with attached copies of clinical records when requested

In-House Employee MOA’s require an hourly wage, CPP, EI, vacation days, holiday pay, sick days, health benefits, ongoing training and minimum of 2-3 hours per day. 

Sherritt’s Virtual Reception can be utilized as the clinic needs assistance, we operate as an extension of the office, when your phone rings so does ours. If there are busier hours of the day or days of the week Sherritt can be implemented as required or on a scheduled basis to ensure the phone lines are managed and staff in not overwhelmed. Can also perform callbacks and confirmations by department in larger settings. 

Clients need to provide:

  • Internet based phone (VoIP systems) service and at least one user "Seat"
  • Software access

The general terms of service are:

  • Hourly charge, plus tax;
  • 10 hour monthly minimum for continuity;
  • a simple 12-month Contract, with option to terminate upon 30 days written notice.

 

Virtual Dental Office Assistant (VDOA) & Reception Service Options

Sherritt’s Virtual Dental Office Assistant (VDOA)/Reception Service was created to support your current administrative staff and as a stand alone service on an ‘as needed’ basis, hourly. Our service ranges from sick/holiday relief to full time 8 hours per day.

In house Employee Office Assistants require an hourly wage, CPP, EI, vacation days, holiday pay, sick days, health benefits, ongoing training and minimum of 3 hours per working day, Sherritt has no cost over face value. Your solution when you need 1/4 of a person

A Sherritt Virtual Dental OA/Receptionist can fill any gap and complete a conglomeration of tasks as required, reducing chaos in any business proffesionals' day. Instead of hiring another Employee OAA think Sherritt Services.
