On March 22 Bulletin MED 242 was released announcing the addition of two COVID-19 vaccination codes.
13.59V - Immunization and administration of COVID-19 vaccine $25
13.59VA - Prolonged COVID-19 vaccination $20 for vaccine appointments that require more than 10 minutes of physician time with the patient.
The codes are effective March 15, 2021 but should not be billed until further notice as the Claims Assessment System needs to be updated to accept these claims.
