AHCIP released a bulletin on January 12, 2022 to announce changes to previously released virtual care codes. The changes of note are that physicians can now include indirect patient care time towards the time requiriment in billing for virtual care codes 03.03CV, 03.03FV and 03.08CV. CMGP01, CMXV15 or CMXV20 are now also being added to 03.03CV and 03.03FV and CMXC30 is being added to 03.08CV. These changes are retroactive to Jan 1, 2022 but physicians will need to wait for updates to the CLASS system. A further bulletin will be released when these changes have been implemented.
