The long and and short of it:

  • Sherritt Billing specialists review charts/notes and bill for services rendered. Sherritt Specialists educating physicians as to what is and is not billable, legitimately, by the SOMB . Essentially, answering the question: What information needs to be detailed and where?
  • Rejections, are managed weekly 
  • Experience with Fee for Service, LFP payment model and PCPCM time tracking, OHIP, MB provincial billing (admin, direct and indirect care time tracking, panel management, coding, submission, reconcile and support)

Sherritt Billing services process:

  1. Patient Visit occurs (Clinic, Emerg, Inpatient, Virtual, LTC, Home visit, Lodge...)
  2. Physician notes patient care details (before, during, after. This is where the Sherritt educates clients)
  3. Sherritt Billing Specialist bills from chart/notes, using client software or optional use of Sherritt’s software for submissions
  4. Payment received by client
  5. Sherritt Billing specialist reconciles rejected claims and communicates about clients practice ensuring billing is maximised. (this is the hardest part)
